By chance I came across the organization Jane Doe No More via a conversation with a stranger. From that moment onwards I knew I wanted to be part of the work that Jane Doe No More does in our communities. After writing a guest blog post and later attending a survivor vigil at the close of Sexual Assault Awareness Month this past May I had the opportunity to train and become a member of the Survivor’s Speak Outreach team. This Dale Carnegie support curriculum is now 100% survivor led and the coaches support us as we document and share our stories to later go into the community and education others. I am thankful for organizations such as Jane Doe No More and honored to be part of this fantastic group of individuals.
