Write, Heal, Thrive Workshop Writing Series
A bi-annual community publication published each January and June.

Write, Heal, Thrive curates a quarterly Workshop Writing Series featuring selected pieces created in our workshops, monthly community writes, and through the writing prompt section of our monthly newsletter. This series is one way we honor participant voices and extend the life of the writing that emerges in these shared spaces.
If something you wrote during a workshop or something began in a workshop that continues to unfold afterward feels ready to be shared, you’re welcome to send up to one page of polished poetry or prose for consideration. You’re invited to revise, expand, or return to your work in your own time after our time together to prepare your work for inclusion. You may also send in excerpts of writing from the monthly newsletter prompts.
Participation is always optional, and there is no pressure or expectation to take part.
Please note: If your work is included in the Workshop Writing Series or shared through Write, Heal, Thrive platforms, it will be considered published. If you are holding a piece for contests or publications that require unpublished work, you may wish to keep it for yourself.
There is no cost to participate, and you retain full rights to your work. Sharing your work is voluntary. Please note we are unable to offer payment for published pieces.
If you would like to share your work, please send to info@melissablombardo.com with the subject line: “Workshop Writing Series.” We ask that you send your writing as a Word document in 12-point font, and include your name, a 2–3 sentence author bio, the newsletter or workshop writing prompt used, the workshop or writing session you attended, and an email address so we can connect with you.
While we cannot guarantee that all pieces will be featured, every contribution is valued, and your words are honored.
